Hello all, just wanted to give short update to fishing last couple of days. The wind will not stop blowing it seems. I think this is good for the fishing. I took 4 guys from out of town fishing yesterday,  for a afternoon trip and it was great.  We moved around on different points until we found the fish, and had to change color (slabs) until we found the right one.  It was gold or white.  We caught and released somewhere around a hundred white bass (lost count) most where good size . I forget to look and get GPS co-ordinates but will nxt time. Thanks, for your support and wear your life jacket while on the water.

Hello everyone, fishing has been great at Grapevine Lake.  The white bass have been co-operating in good numbers.  The bite is lasting most all day with  surface action early and late in the day.  Most  of the larger fish are schooling up in large numbers off points and on humps.  Slabs of most any color are doing well with gold, white and chartreuse being the best. My next post will include some GPS cordinates.  Safe fishing and remember to always wear your PFD.
